HELLO EVERYBODY :)
MAAILMAKODANIKUD are extremely happy to invite you to take part in the next
event- SUMMIT :)
WHAT IT IS? Summit is the event for making future plans, establishing
contacts with each other and celebrating Easter in the Estonian way
FOR WHO? For EX-EVS-s and for CURRENT EVS PEOPLE in Estonia
WHEN? 8- 9 April (the second weekend in April, 1 weekend before Easter)
WHERE? in VÄRSKA (http://www.verska.ee/index.php?keel=2). Värska is situated
in the south-eastern part of Estonia and near the Russian border
HOW TO GET THERE? From TARTU: the BUS goes at 11.45 (arrives 13.22), the
ticket costs 65 kr (for students 50 kroons).
BACK from Värska: the BUS departures 16:45 (18:45 in tartu) on SUNDAY

ACCOMMODATION? In the Hirvemäe Holiday Center (www.hirvemae.ee). And it
is not far from the bus station ;)

- The food and accommodation is paid by MAAILMAKODANIKUD!!! :)
- You need to pay for your travel expences, but we NEED YOUR TICKETS, gas
bills etc FOR CO-FINANCING! Please-please-please KEEP YOUR TICKETS AND GIVE
THEM TO US!!!!!!!!!
- Värska is a very special region. It is the center of present Setomaa.
SETUS are minorities who are living in this region. And by the way, they
have a very special form of singing (and dancing), which you can't see any
other place in the world. That's why we would like to invite Setus to
perform to us!!!!
But the thing is that… for this activity there is no budget. 1 hour Setus'
show costs about 1000kr
Our proposal is: when everybody would give between 35-50 kroons (the real
price depends on the amount of the comers ), then we have possibility to see
their SUPER PERFORMANCE!!! Really, it is very unique ;)
SO, there is also a small request for you, WHEN YOU INFORM US ABOUT YOUR
COMING,
CAN YOU ALSO ADD IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS SHOW ;)
as it is necessary to know if we invite them to perform to us!

Saturday 8th
14.00 LUNCH
15.00 ’getting to know' games,
15.45 INTRODUCTION of MAAILMAKODANIK
17.00 visiting the MUSEUM of the region)
18.00 DINNER with special Estonian food, served in the museum :)
19.00 going back to the accommodation place as the museum will close
20.00 SETUs performance (1h), when it is not happening, then we have also
Plan B ;)
Evening activities, sauna, chill out :)

11.00 workgroups (about future plans, activities)
12.30 Orientation
13.30 Easter activities
14.00 LUNCH
15.00 packing, returning the ticket money, etc etc
